Our Florida scrap yard recently took in a 1941 Packard 110. The guys in the yard want to crush it. My opinion is that it would be a crime to scrap it. The body has some rust & has had some custom work done on the front end, but the car has lots of original parts that can be saved (glass, lights, dash, rear sheet metal & bumper, etc.). The engine is an original six that (I'm told) runs. Crushed value on the car is around $750.00. Is it worth saving?

If everything is there, I would say that it is.

If nothing else, it might be worth parting out. I'd be interested in park lights if you decide to part it out. If it's really rusty, there probably aren't many potential buyers. I've been watching ebay and the 41 110s they've listed don't draw much interest. If it was a convertible or a senior (160-180) there'd be more buzz.
