1929 Model A
-
How does the coil over shock work and the purpose?

The 29 Model A doesn't come stock with "modern" suspension. When we first got ours, the ride was...well....like riding a horse drawn wagon without the horse (hence Horseless carriage).
What we did is welded modified mounts for shocks similar to those used on a 74 Pinto. End result: car rides smooooooth (Okay...smooth for a model A).
Coilovers or straight up shocks are viable suspension solutions for a 29 "A".
(I prefer the shocks such as I used though!)
