Gas Pedal keeps falling off
-
The gas pedal on my '58 is constantly coming loose. It's a repro pedal, the kind that has the white plastic {possibly nylon) wear strip on the back. I've trimmed the padding away under the carpet. I've also replaced the ball studs that it snaps onto....& off of.:mad: Any ideas??
-
How well does it snap onto the peddle?
Is any of the linkage binding causing it to move in a way that would allow it to come off?
Have you talked to the folks that you purchased the pedal from to see if there are others that have the same problem?
