403/455 swap
-
I have a 79 Trans Am and replaced the 403 with a 455 Olds engine. I found that the fuel pump on the 455 does not have a return fuel line post on it. Only posts for line from tank and line to engine. What should I do with return fuel line?
-
1) Is the fuel pump from the 403 the same? If so, you could swap them.
2) Plug it -
I believe I could swap the fuel pumps, they look the same excet for the return fuel line.
Thanks -
Make sure that the lever is the correct size.
