1969 Ford Impulse Valve For Disc Brakes
-
Ok all you Ford guys, i need some help. I'm looking for a part, either new or used. I'm working on the brakes on a 1969 Ford Mustang with front disc brakes, every time that i step on the brakes the fronts grab HARD and the front end nose-dives into the dirt. It appears to be missing what Ford calls a brake pressure impulse valve. This is the little in-line valve that screws into the proportioning valve where the line from the master cylinder goes in to feed the front brakes, it works to "slow down" the fluid to the front brakes. It appears to fit 1969 full size fords, torino's/ fairlane's, mustangs, thunderbirds, and falcons with factory front disc brakes, i'm sure it would also fit the corresponding Mercury models. The Ford part number is C8AZ-2B363-A. Maybe someone out there has one kicking around in there tool box, or a parts car that they would sell one off from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Phil.
