'69 Ranchero Issues
-
I have a '69 Ford Ranchero with a 302 V8, 5.0L. Yesterday I was taking a drive out in the farm lands and my engine cut out on me. The towtruck driver was kind enough to check my engine out after bringing back home. The oil's fine, and it didn't overheat, and I just filled up the tank the day before. I'm no mechanic (I bought the car to get into it, but I've a long way to go), but the guy checked what he thought might have been the problem. After he checked the distrubitur he mentioned that I should check the ignition coil.
I need to go get an ohmmeter and do that, but I was hoping that someone here could give me a couple ideas. -
You need to check for spark and fuel. Then let us know what you have found.

I have that exact car, if its still problematic its probably the electronics module located near the washer fluid resevoir. hot weather can really damage those especially if they are rebuilt.
