Riding in luxury
-
I spent last weekend at a three day multi-make car meet touring about in our 1915 model "T" Ford, today I drove the 1927 Chrysler "4" to Canada Day celebrations (33 miles per hour tops) and this evening hopped in the 1937 Terraplane coupe to our local club meeting. Wow, what modern luxury that felt like, smooth power, quiet interior, brakes that perform and the newly mounted steering damper shock has taken a lot of the fight out of the bias-ply tires. A fun example of the advancements in the automobile.
