Take your Hudson to work day
-
Well for various reasons one of our two cars whilst taxed (tagged) does not have the license to display in it so my wife gets twitchy about this.
Simple solution really - it's a nice day, the sun is shining in the UK so jump into my 1939 112 and head off out into the rush hour traffic.
Not a single problem with the Old Girl except for the usual one of people thinking they can pull in front of you or cut across you because "it's old therefore must be slow". The horn had a little exercise today as well!
So there is my 1939 car sitting on the car park surrounded by all this modern tin (and some exotica as well because company cars here can be interesting) but you can guess which gets the glances.
Any number of people stopped me on my walk across the car park to ask about it or just comment on how lovely it looked - mostly female as well!
So if you get the chance today - take your Hudson into work.
It's great fun! -
