Friend has a 327 in a 66 Marlin, looks like a freeze out plug is leaking at the rear of the engine. Will this engine come out diconnected from the trans, or do you have to mess with the toque tube?

Engine came out, those moter mounts are no good, had to remove the right exhaust manifold to get the starter out. Two of the three rear freeze out plugs were leaking!:D

    Glad you got it solved.

Don't forget to change them all seeing the engine is out and they are easy to get to.

Will change all the freeze plugs, will the engine go back on the trans with the starter in, its realy in a bad place to try and put it in after the engine goes in?
