Starter motor part

    The wrap around band that covers the brushes is missing from my starter motor. It is a ' 53 Hornet with the Autilite MCH 6109 starting motor. Does anyone know where I could buy a band?

    You still looking for this? I ended up with two starters when I pulled my engine and brought it home. I can dig around the garage and come up with one I'm pretty sure.
