Mopar Lug Bolts
-
I know the old (30's) Chryslers used left hand twist on drivers side lug bolts and right hand (normal) twist on the passenger side but what about the Plymouth and Dodge cars of that era? Were they same as Chrysler?
Thanks

All Mopars prior to 1971 - Lefts were LH thread and rights were RH thread on cars all the way THROUGH the 1970 model year in both cars and trucks. After that, they went to all-rights.
This applies to ALL C/P/D/DeS lines."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
This is from a 1939 Desoto owner, Desoto was part of the Chrylser Corp up ujhtil 1961.
The 39 Desoto had all right hand lug bolts Als the 39 Dodge had all right hand lug nuts like a modern car. It was not until the 40 that Chrylser went to using the RH and LH lug bolts.
I had a 39 Dodge Parts car so this is how I can comment on this.
