66 Impala SS, Is this right
-
I have found online a 66 Chevy Impala SS, bucket seats and console, 327 motor, 3 speed on the column. I don’t remember a 66 Impala SS with 3 speed on the column. Was there such a thing made?
-
Im not sure, but the column could be custom...maybe
-
Yes, SS was a trim option. All transmissions and engines were available at the time.

For those who doesnt know , there is an impala 1966 3 speed on the column that still alive . This one is mine with just 39000 miles . I havent found another one like this anywhere , I know this is very rare . Maybe sell it but Iam not sure , if someone is interested let me know. -
I believe all 60's Impala's had column shifters, unless it was a Muncie, you couldn't get them on the floor, as i remember. Impala's were intented as Chevrolet's classic cruiser/ family car, also why it only has a 327 stock and not a 350+ or a BB.
