Looking for lights for a '39 112

    I've posted here before about the lights on my '39 112 being non standard and as a starter I'm going to ask the question as to whether or not anyone has a set of headlights and fender lights for a 1939 112 just lying around that could go to a good home?

    I'll be placing an ad in the mag as well but I know a lot of folks look in on this forum.

    Thanks

    Paul

    Hi Chuck,

    It was wishful thinking that there may have been some lying around to be honest!

    Paul,

    I picked up a set of refelectors on ebay six months ago, and also snapped up three lense and three of the bezzales that hold the lense in place. All were reasonablly priced. since I bought mine, I have seen lenses at a lower price that I paid for my NOS pair. Check it out, there seems to be some posted ever now and then...

    Hi Brownie,

    Thanks for this. I noticed some lights on eBay the other day but the starting bid was $479 PER LIGHT which would have meant around $1,000 before shipping.

    I guess it's a case of patience being key here!

    I emailed the seller, indicating the the price might be acceptable - for all four lights, but not for one... I also indicated that the lights were 'left' and 'right' specific, and should be sold in pairs...

    Well, guess the seller didn't like my comments as to the price, so my comments were not posted with the auction. However the auction has been changed, and he is now selling them as pairs, at $800 a pair (a bit less, but with shipping it will be a bit over that amount anyway...

    They look in good shape, however -
    - I don't think they are worth the extreme $$ he is asking (maybe between $200-250 a set);
    - I don't think they are actually for a Hudson 112 Model 90... But then again, I don't think many would notice the difference anyway (Maybe 'oldhudsons' can tell whether they are correct or not (?))...

    That chrome bezel just doesn't look right (for a Hudson). Mine on my '39 (much worse shape) aren't anything like this...
    (Note: This one appears to be for the left side...).
