1966 Gm C50?
-
Hello,
I've got a 1966 GM 5yd dump truck, the only badge on the side simply has 50 on it.
Is it a C50 ? I'm trying to figure out what bodyparts might interchange.
Thanks -
c stood for chevrolet-- that cab is the same as the jimmy--
i saw a pic of it on the hudson forum-- looks like a 4 yrd box-- should have a 6 yrd gate--
what engine you got ?/- mine had a 348 -- 5 speed with 2sp rearend-- -
Hoods, doors, cabs, all glass and dashes swap between series from 10 through 60. Fenders are 10 - 30, then 40 - 60 series.
Doors swap between 1960 - 1963 inclusive, and 1964 - 1966 inclusive, but not between the sets of years. Cabs and windshields are the same way."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
Thanks for the info!
