65 Impala weight

I purchased a 1965 Impala SS hardtop with a 396, turbo 400 tranny and factory a/c. I need to know what the weight of the vehicle is for registration in N.Y. The car has a California title and does not state the weight. Does anybody have a similar car and know the unladen weight or a site I can go to to find the weight? JN

According to http://www.carnut.com/specs/gen/chv65.html, a '65 Impala SS 8 cylinder coupe (hardtop) weighs 3570 pounds. That info may or may not help you, hope it does.

I really liked my 64 Impala SS convertible that I got as a teenager. It had a 409. It was fast. I don't have it any more - I wrecked it when it was rainy. I don't know what it weighed.

Just go to a truck stop and weigh it for a few bucks to be sure.
