HK, that '50 running yet?
-
Hey HK,you finished with the O/Dr. problem yet?. I haven't seen too much of you around here,so it must mean that you have been working on the '50. I saw you posted about"built Twin-H carbs". Does this mean that you have put this on it?.
-
sorry Doug, been working in the yard, and on the car, when I get a chance. I haven't much messed with the OD, but I still want to pull the trans. I keep putting off e-mailing you, but plan on touching base, soon. I might go to the simple on off switch, like 7xpacemaker had in his 51, I liked the simple operation, and might be the fastest way to get this to operate or not. I'll check the solenoid when I pull the tranny, and figure out where my problem is or is not....
-
Nope, now it is not running.... trans is ready to come off the engine, again, and a new clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing going in, along with a little work to the clutch fork. Been down this road before, it seems.....
Need to pull the solenoid, and test. and now I see my speedo cable is snapped, geez.... anything else that could go wrong?
