Adjust valves on Nash Statesman
-
I know it's a real involved job to adjust the valves on '55 Hudsons, and '56 Wasp's with solid lifters. ('56 Hornet's with the 308 had hydraulic lifters !) The enclosed fenders make access a real challenge! The Nash Statesman with the same body ( shorter wheelbase) from 1952-to 1955, also had a flathead side valve engine. But did they have solid lifters, and need just as involved work as the Hudson, or did the factory supply them with hydraulic lifters?
