Looking For My Father\'s Oldsmobile
-
Seriously! I'm trying to track down a 1963 Olds F85 Cutlass that was once in the family. My father bought the car new in Eureka, California in early 1963 and I used it throughout my high school years. Now, I'd like to find it and buy it for restoration. Unfortunately, I do not know any of the vital details about it: VIN or license plate number. Does GM (or some other organization) maintain a VIN registry that might be helpful in identifying the car so that it can be traced through DMV? Any ideas? Also, if anyone knows of the whereabouts of this model car (2-door coupe) sitting around their neighborhood, possibly still in northern or central California, please reply. Thanks.
