H H front clip
-
This is either a 1952 or 1953 Hudson Hornet. If the hood has a hood ornament that looks like an airplane its a 53. If it looks like a gold triangle with a base, its a 52. If no hood, look on the passenger side front door pillar. A nameplate that is aluminium and triangular in shape will be rivited on the pillar between the hinges. A 52 hornet has the prefix 7B. The 53 Hornet will have a prefix of 7C.

Thanks for the info. all I have is the front clip W/ hood, but no ornament. Is the ornament on a '52 on the front or the top of the hood? This hood has no mounting holes in the front, just on the top. I got this clip in a trade along with a '49 Shoebox project and some other vehicles. The sheet metal seems to be in real nice condition [just that little crease in the picture]
