A Freinds Olds
-
Hi, .I have a freind, just purchased a very complete 1954 Olds Starfire convertable. It will need an engine, and a lot of work to get it in running shape again. My Question: He also has a very nice 88 sedan, he was going to put the engine from the 88 into the Starfire. I told him it was a smaller engine, he should sell the nice 88 sedan, and find a correct 98 engine for it. Am I wrong for wanting to save this very nice 4 door sedan? Steve

I don't think you are wrong Steve. I am not a purist but if you have a very nice car, why hack it up? There are plenty of people out there that love 4 doors and would want something like what he has. I would think that with a little searching he could find everything he needs and sell the car quickly.
