Was the Venetian-Blind Kits ever made for the 1947 and back rear Window ?

Does anyone make them today ?

    Thanks To all. Rudy

Not sure about the blinds for a 47. As far as reproductions, I haven't heard of anyone doing them. The places you're most likely to find them are eBay (expensive) or at a swap meet.

Yes they were made for the 46 /47 Hudsons. I had a 47 Super 8 sedan back when with one.

Speaking of which, I head some Hudsons front seats could fold down to make a bed. I'd be interested in modifying my seat to do that.

Never heard of a Hudson that did that, but some of the Nash's did for sure.

I saw in Butler's book there were Camper options for Hudson's pre-WW2 to make beds but not post- WW2 unless of course there were companies that made aftermarket kits. See Don Butler's book.

I think the 55 - 56 - 57 front seat back folded down, at least on some models. I believe this was mentioned in the WTN in an article written by Charlie Nau.
