starter wiring
-
i'm replacing the engine in my truck, and i've got the new one in and nearly ready to start, but i forgot how the starter wires go, there is the main lead from the battery which goes on the big post, and i know the very small lead goes on the small post with an s on it, but there's a third lead which is two tied together, and i can't remember if it goes on the big one or the small one with an s, any help would be appreciated

On G.M. vehicles I believe the purple wire goes to the S terminal, green to I term. and larger red ones go to the large terminal with the battery cable. these are the main body feed wires that feed everything except the starter itself.
