Kaiser Supersonic Carburetor
-
I have a L head 134 Kaiser Supersonic engine. It was missing the carburetor when I got it. Thinking this was similar to the Willys L head, I purchased a Solex carburetor for it, but have now found that the Willys carb is smaller than the intake mount (width of the studs in the manifold vs. the carb base). Does anyone know what I need in the way of a carburetor? Is there a more modern aftermarket carb for this engine?

According to my book, Carter was the choice of Kaiser.
You didn't say what year you had but I have these:
1947 - 48 = WA-1 and part # 622S
1947 - 48 = WA-1 and part # 622SA
1949.. 492 = WCD and part # 685SA
1949 - 50 .. 491,501 = WA-1 part # 622SB
1949 - 50 = WCD and part # 723S
Hope this helps
Ron
