36 Terraplane
-
Would like to confirm what to correct color of the 36 Terraplane Engine might be. Is it Silver or.............?
-
Should be silver (engine and head, manifolds, water jacket, water pump). Starter, generator, air silencer and spark plug wire tube will be gloss black. Carb. will not be painted.
You might want to place further inquiries up at the main Hudson Forum here. This is the "discussion" section, so doesn't get as much viewership as the main forum. -
I'm definitely not an expert on Hudsons/Terry's (especially compared to others on here), but the engine I had pulled out of a '36 parts Terraplane was bright silver underneath all the sludge/grime/gunk on the block. Don't know about any other parts cause they were all rust-colored or missing.
