hey i am looking for a good place to start, i have searched a good while now for info on 1949-50 mercs and just am not getting anywhere, any info on sites with replacement parts or better info on mercs would be appreciated. i am in the process of buying a barn find 1950 merc and want to rod it, chop it and slam it, once again any help would be appreciated thanks

Nice find,try ebay i have found a number of things there,also mercuryland and birdhaven autos has some parts.Good luck and keep us posted.
