Does anyone remember the triple AAA dragster owned by Ivan Reynolds who owned about 7-8 Moon speed equipement auto parts stores on the west coast back in the 60's ?? Chrysler hemi powered, don't know who drove it . At one time was tied for fastest triple AAA time with a car from Fla. Don't think they ever ran the same track/same day . Anyone got any pics of it ?? Was wifes uncles car. Long story but Ivan left Ind at a young age,no one here knew where he was untill the late 60's when one day he knocked on my mother-in laws door. This was all before anyone here got into the "car thing" and we have no pics of it . BUD

    FYI

Take a look in the April '08 Hot Rod Magazine on the Newstands at the '50 & '60's Dragster pictures for a potential Lead... The car from Fla was probably Don Gartlis also pictured....

Another suggestion is to contact Moon Equipment at www.mooneyes.com and Moon, being a long time Speed Supplier, may have pictures of old Racers in their archives.... Good Luck

Try Greg Sharp, Curator of the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum...HETgsharp@nhra.com. Drop the HET. He will know, but might take a while to get back to you...
