Marvel Carburetors
-
I have a Marvel Carburetor throttle shaft and lever assembly that belongs either to a 1929 Oakland or 1929 Pontiac. From drawings, they look the same, but since the part numbers are different (i.e. 12-602 for Oakland and 12-617 for Pontiac), there must be some dimensional difference. Attached is a photo of the part. Are there any carburetor experts who can tell me which car this belongs to? The shaft is ¼†in diameter and measures 2 7/8†long from the inside of the lever to the end of the shaft (3 9/16’’ overall length of shaft). Slot for the throttle valve measures 1 11/16â€.
Thanks,
