34-36 rebuildable block wanted
-
Walt Mordenti was right; too many cracks in the block to rebuild my 34 Terraplane coupe engine. I'm looking for a rebuildable replacement engine - seems like 1936 would be about ideal, followed by 34 or 35.

Here are two ads I just discovered on the internet. The first is for a '37 which you evidently don't want, but I'll throw it in anyway.
1937 hudson terraplane - parts for sale -engine/trans/with stater, dist, generator, carb still attached ,complete driveshaft - - doug, wilsonville, alabama, 35186, usa, phone: 205-381-1448 email @netzero.com
1935 Hudson Terraplane - parts for sale - Complete Engine, Transmission, all Drive Train - Brian Banz, Syracuse, Utah, 84015, USA, phone: (801)664-7693 , Email: bbanz@dmsutah.com -
Thanks much; I had seen those and sent an email to the guy in Utah - was going to wait and see what else comes up nearer to me in central California before branching out farther. I guess up to 1939 would work - looking to do it without doing a bunch of modifications. Bill Albright had a 36, but it is already rebuilt. TKS Dennis Holck
