:)Would anyone have a use for a perfect '52 Wasp hood? It is totally rust free and without dents. Only problem is that you would need to pick it up in Amarillo,Texas. $150 or whatever you think is fair.:D

Regarding pickup. I've shipped several hoods and trunk lids via Greyhound. Just taped some heavy cardboard around them and arrived in sent condition. Usually about $50, much much cheaper than other methods on large items. Just trying to help get things done. BUD

I can confirm Bud's helpful information; I purchased a 52 hood for my Hornet and had it shipped and received exactly as Bud recommended and the cost

was $50.00 Quick question that I know has been addressed many times in the past; what step down front clips years interchange , I realize from doors back to quarter panels sedan's and coupes are different?

    Thanks

:D'52 and '53 front clips will interchange. Of course, the '53 grill does not have the pot metal struts and the hood ornament is different from '52. "51 grill ornament housing is different from '52 and '53, so the hood is also different. The front fender extensions on '51's are also different, so that pretty much makes '51 clips a one year deal just as the '54's are one year deals. I hope someone can use this '52 Wasp hood because it really is perfect and 30 years is long enough for me to hold onto it.:D

I have a '52 hood on my '51 Pacemaker. Works great. All that has to be done is to utilize the '52 center ornament. Personally, I like the '52 plain hood ornament better than the '51s.
