door handles on a '35
-
i see from the pictures of the '34 for sale on ebay that there is a "door closer" handle on each door. my sedan deluxe only has one on the pax door. should there be one on the driver door as well. i am talking about the "D" ring handle fitted under the edge of the window garnish, not the door operating handle. regards, tom
-
I believe ther is only supposed to be on on the right side. My father has an original 34 sedan and it only has the one on the right. I have never seen one on the left. Someone probably added the left side to make them match.

My 34 Sedan Has Only 18,600 Miles On It And It Only Has 1 Locking Door Handlealso
-
paul, not the locking handle, but the "D" ring handle you pull on to close the door. regards, tom
-
Tom, according to the '36 literature these handles were accessory items, not standard on any model. Probably the same in '34-35.
-
park, does that mean an owner could have 1..2..whatever he/she purchased? regards, tom
-
Tom, I don't know for sure, but see no reason why they wouldn't have been offered individually vs. having to buy a pair.
