wipers and fuel; pumps?

Is there a electric wiper swap for the vacum stepdown 6 volt, Also if you put a newer fuel pump in does that change the vacum system? It does not rain very much where Iam gong to be at but some of those summer rain storms can get real nasty. Thanks John drivergo2:confused:
