I think there has been some unnecessary, counterproductive, and negative posts made lately, that has made me unhappy with a few of the members of this forum, and I am sure me with them.

One of the things I have decided this year, is I am going to make reasonable effort to resolve conflict. I did not take that approach today, and honestly, if you feel you have been wronged, let's get it out there, let's air it out. (specifically, today, to you Alex, and I'm sorry.)

I'm not looking for a bunch of crybaby posts here, I would like to see specific examples if you feel I wronged you, as well as be prepared, if you come here, looking to make a point, I will want the same respect, and same concession from you. I have several posts that I have earmarked as hurtful, and would expect the same response that I am offering you. This is not a heresay thread, if you got a valid issue, let's fix it.

This is my holding out the olive branch, to make amends going into the new year. Please post below, let's try to do something positive with this thread.

If you choose not to mend the bridge, then so be it, I want to have a clear conscious that I made a fair effort to solve some problems.

And if you are on my ignore list, I will read your post, in this thread and give it a careful and thoughtful response. I think this is fair.

    Thank you

    Hudsonkid.

Hudsonkid, I don't know who you are, or whether I am on your ignore list. But methinks the old adage "Actions speak louder that words" is a wise maxim. Happy New Year to all.

    Geoff.

Please explain, if you will, Geoff...

i would llike to give this a thoughtful reply.

If you want me to tell you who I am, I will be glad to. It isn't a secret. I prefer to more often than not, keep it off the board, mainly due to security reasons, but please, anyone, PM me, and I will gladly tell you my full name. I already list my town in my posts, I don't know...

Wouldn't it be funny though, to find out one day, the person you perhaps voted for, to be a HET club board member, was me? At least if you voted for me, you wouldhave the feeling that you didn't let this forum or the discussion cloud your head for considering me as a properly quailified individual for such a position. Probably won't happen, that is, me bieng a board member, but who knows! The future's so bright, I got to wear shades.

The great thing about Classicar.com is that this has turned into a 24 hour worldwide Hudson meet. ( A well attended Hudson meet, as I type there are 62 people viewing Hudson posts) HET was started as a club to exchange tips and tech advise and grew into a wonderful social organization; the Hudson forums on Classiccar.com have evolved in much the same way. Much like a "live" Hudson meet, people don't always see eye to eye with each other, but at the end of the day we were glad to have spent time with other people who like the same things we do.

Matt, so true. I know that there are a few out there that don't love hudsonkid that much, even now. I know that is hard to believe, but at the end of the day, I got to say, I like everyone. no problems on this end.

I was on late last night, couldn't sleep, and at 1:00 AM, it seemed there were about 60 people on as well. mostly guests.

I really think that most of those 60 are HET'ers that like to be involved, but are more comfortable communicating with someone in person, than typing...but don't want to miss out on the fun. Others were like me, I was at home on a different computer and forgot to log in.
