E-Z way to join the HET Club
-
If writing checks and using stamps is not your thing, I'm going to donate some time to make your life easier. Call me (Matt Royer) at my piano store and I will process your HET membership for you. I'm typically here 10am to 6pm through the week and Noon to 4pm on Sundays (Pacific time). I try really hard to take one day off a week, so if I'm not here ask the person who answers (Candy) when to call me back. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted.
1. Call Music World at 1-800-777-6874
2. Ask for Matt
3. We will fill out your application for membership over the phone
4. Have your credit card ready for a $30 charge (first class mail is worth it)
5. I will then send a check and your membership application to Charlotte Sargent, Membership director -
What a guy! Way to step up Matt...

I had a problem this year with my membership renewal so I phoned Charlotte and she was kind enough to take my membership info and my visa no. over the phone...wonderful.

Howdy Y'all,
The club has allowed credit card membership payment by people outside the USA because of the problems with exchange rates and costs of getting certified checks or money orders in foreign countries. Along with that factor and the higher postage rates they pay a higher membership fee.
Each credit card usage has a fee charged to the receiver of the credut card payment, ask PayPal!
We keep hoping that the HET BOD will address this question for membership and club store every year.
Talking outside of the context of the National Meet BOD meeting indicates some support by individuals.
So.... jump on the campaign trail and tell your own reps at every level and the club president your ideas and opinions.
PS; don't mention me, okay Mike?
