1940 Ford Truck.
-
I am trying to sell a 40 Ford Truck for a friend. This truck was left to her when her dad passed on.It is in great shape but not all original.I believe the motor
(flat head
to be original. It runs well. The gas tank has been moved to the back and is not original. There is no dents and the truck has been painted light blue.It is not a proffesional paint job. There are some runs. All parts are there. It has been converted to 12 volt.I believe the truck to be worth between $15,000 and $18,000.The truck being stock is rare, most have been turned into hot rods. Can anyone tell me what they think the value might be?
Any selling tips?
Thanks -
well i can't really tellyou until i see some pics but from what it sounds it needs some work so right now it would not be worth 15-18,000 dollars but it is worth whatever some one will pay for it maybe 5-6,000 would be right and as for selling tips just be truthfull in telling what you know about the truck and yes you will get some offers you think are far to hard to beleave but just keep trying and the right person will come along with money in hand and if they don't have the money with them then it is not a sale so good luck and tell me how it goes, Nick Hansen
