    Hi,

I am in need of some technical expertise. My plymouth was running fine today but after I let it sit for about an hour and tried to start it backup it started acting like the battery was dying. It eventually just clicked and nothing else but the lights are working. I was able to charge the battery but it still won't start. It turns the engine ever so slighty but, for example the fan will only spin about 20 degrees and then stop. I'm trying to narrow down the problem can anyone help?

    thank you,

Clean ALL of your battery cable connections and make sure there's a ground strap between the frame body and engine. If it doesn't go there already hook your ground strap directly to the engine. Also check your battery. Remove the cell caps and watch down in the cells while someone else just 'lays' on the starter, there should be NO bubbles under load. If there are you've got a faulty battery. Good luck.

    hello,

I hope I am wrong, but check if you have lost any water.

I had a similar thing happen a few years back in an old Nissan wagon, that had done a head gasket.-ran fine shut off and water leaked into a cylinder and made a hydraulic "lock".starter would'nt move it. all electrics were fine.

pulles the plugs and soon found the trouble. a cylinder FULL.

    regards,Rod
