Frame Swap Question!

Hello All !!! My question is: Will a frame from a 1979 El Camino fit under a 1978 buick regal? Almost everybody tells me the EL frame is longer,but I had the cars parked next to each other and they ar exactly the same length and width. I also took a few measurements and it seems to me that they have exactly the same frame and even after all this some people still insist the EL Camino is longer. I've never done a frame swap before and I'm a little nervous about it because I don't want to get in over my head. Any and all help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!! :confused:
