Brake Swap

Ive got a 1962 Plymouth Savoy. I want to change the front brakes to disc. Is it a bad idea to rob front end parts off another old mopar (if I can find one with disc brakes that fit), or should I just by the kit. I'm in the middle of restoring it. Not trying to cheap out but would be nice to save some money even if it requires a lot more work.
