If it doesn't rain in central Illinois tomorrow Sunday, we will head for Havana to Midstate Dragway. Haven't run the 41 in three years. It will be interesting. Will keep you posted tomorrow. Get ready Frarkley, I'll be in Indiana next month. Have that charger ready.

Whoa! Where at next month in Indiana? I would love to see the Hudson

racing engine guru go aginst Frarkley!

Is there going to be a Hudson Drag Race King crowned here or is there a little

riverly going on that I have missed?

After all Randy is the guy that has the years of experience racing the

    Hudson flathead six.

I would love to see that 41 back on the strip again especially since the

Hudson national drags got rained out just before you got the chance to

run at Muncie this past July.

    Keep us posted.

I wonder if Steve's Hudson engine leaks oil, abundantly, out of both ends like mine does?

Someone please ask him for me.

Sneek peek: This photo contest entry by James Hood will appear in the Sept/Oct issue of WTN. It shows the Webbers on Randy/Russ Maas's '41, manifold by Harry Groessel. (See July/August) We are working hard on the magazine after taking an additional 2+ weeks vacation in the GWN.

Plan on running at the Indy Sportsmans open the weekend of October 12, 13, 14th if the 41 holds together between now and then. Looking for Steve Farkley. Turn up the boost, add nitro if ytou wish, and bring extra head gaskets. Meet me at the tree!

What rivalry? Steve & I had talked about running at the national in Auburn. He was asking me about rearend ratios and stall speeds to use. I think he was going to put that motor in a 54. Bring it on. Enjoy the smack talk while it lasts.
