    CAR COMPANY OF DETROIT MICHIGAN A CORPORATION OF MICHIGAN.

    DESIGN FOR A RADIATOR CAP.

    Application filed December 8 1927. Serial No. 24412. Term of patent 14 years.

    To all wham it may concern;

    Be it known that I FREDERICK C. RUPPEL

    a citizen of the United States residing at Grand Rapids in the county of Pent State of Michigan have invented a new original and ornamental Design for a Radiator Cap of which the following is a specification reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming a part thereof.

    In the drawing;

    Fig. 1 is a side elevation of a radiator cap showing my new design.

    Fig. 2 is a fragmentary showing of a rear elevation.

    Fig. 3 is a front elevation.

    I claim :

    The ornamental design for a radiator cap substantially as shown.

    Looks clearly like they are the drawings for the '28 Essex radiator cap to me.

    I do a lot of patent research, and a while back, google made it real easy to search patents. NEVER buy a patent like this from anyone on eBay. DO a google search (look under the "more" tab, choose "patents") and search there.....
