Mopar U-Joints
-
I'm helping a buddy replace his rear joint on a 56 Dodge. It's a full size car, small V8. The original joint end caps have "tabs" on the yoke ends. No U bolts or straps. The tabs have bolts and nuts to attach to the yoke. Are there any source for these joints ? We have tried local auto parts stores and they have never seen anything like them. He did contact one Mopar supplier and when he got the part, although it looked like the one we took out, it was much too large. I found a joint that fits, but can't find straps or u bolts to fit the hole spacing on the yoke. I know someone has been where we are now...
