Looking for 54 kaiser taillights. I have the original units that need to be renewed. Does anyone have a process for coating them or good ones for

    sale?

    Hi There, Iblockco.

Although I have a large number of classics I just acquired my first Kaiser (1953 Manhattan coupe) and I also am looking for taillamp lenses as well as front t/s lenses. Hopefully this thread will stimulate a response.

Don't mean to dash your hopes, but I bought the last NOS rear taillight lens from a guy that got it from Rudy Phillips in CA about a year ago. Looks brand new. Before I did that however, I contacted a company in Texas about making a replacement lens and sent them one of my old spares. They quoted me a price of over $600.00 per lens. Sorry.

I may have a couple of 54/55 tail lights. As for the guy looking for the 53 tail lights, I am almost certain that there are some NOS tail lights on EBAY. I think Seth's KF Warehouse on EBAY has them.

BUYER BEWARE!! Some of the taillights floating around out there might be for the Argentine Kaiser Carabela. Some of these parts are starting to come into the U.S. The biggest difference is that the Argentine top lenses (the ones that run up the top of the fenders) have lugs for three screw holes molded on them, whereas the U.S. versions do not, since they have a reflector bearing three riveted nuts on it which slides and locks inside the lens. I believe the color may be slightly off as well.
