60 chevy rough running problem
-
hey guys, got a problem with my 60 c10 with a 350/350 conversion. i changed out the old stock style rocker arms in favor for stamped steel rockerarms.
well we made a few test drives and found that a couple were still loose. so we went and readjusted the rockerarms and it ran better after that. now my truck runs rough at an idle and won't hold a low idle for too long and dies in gear if i don't put my foot on the gas just a bit. it runs ok if i put my foot in the gas while driving. my thought is the distributor timing slipped out of time and/or my plugs are fouled out. any thoughts?? -
well i found a couple of wires that fried cause they touched my headers. so now i can kinda keep it running at 1000 rpms somewhat smoothly, but still wants to die in gear and when i give it a little gas in park or neutral and let off the gas. distributor timing maybe??
