VIN# Location
-
Can anyone tell me where I would find the VIN# on a 1925 Packard with a straight 8 engine? Thanks!
-
OK, I'll answer my own question (now that I have the car). The VIN is located on the engine, just above the starter motor on the left hand side of the engine. It was covered with oil, so I could not find it immediately. By the way, there is also a vehicle identification plate on the interior, attached to the cowl under the dash board and chassis number located on the frame by the drivers side door just under the hood. These three numbers are all different.
