Need some help.

I have a 49 aba motor, 4" merc crank, isky cam, offy heads, mallory dual point distr, I have been dealing with this motor for almost a year now. Everything is new!!!!! I have checked and rechecked everything!!! It has Offy intake with a 600cfm holley carb. Set at 6psi, everything is correct. Even did the oil passage port for the intake valley. This thing will not run. It sounds like its off 180 degrees. I pulled everything apart and rechecked. I have bought almost everything again to double check my equipment and its still the same. Just sputters and sputters, anyone deal with something like this on a 4" stroked Flathead. cam is isky with 262/272 D.L. Thanks for anyone that has any clue. I am about ready to dump the whole motor and drop in a crate motor in my 48 Ford coupe. Thanks.
