The engine will not start after it is warmed up and then shut off for about an hour. When the engine is cold it starts right up. It is a V-8 that has been over hauled. The carb, starter, ignition, all has been rebuilt. All wiring has been replaced with new 6V wiring. I put a can of gas up on a step ladder way above the engine and ran a hose directly into the carb. (gravity feed). If I put gas in it that has the 10% ethanol it will not start after it is warm and sits for an hour. If I put airplane gas in the can (no ethanol in airplane gas). It starts right up after it has been warmed up. I've put 2 cycle oil in the gas and it did not help. I've put Marvel mystery in the gas and did not help. Michigan only sells gas with ethanol in it. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

If you are running E85, you will need to do significant rework of the carb (especially jetting and a complete carb overhaul with E85-friendly components), and working your timing to work with the fuel. I'm assuming your V-8 is the Red Ram Hemi and is stock. Most vehicles will run decent with E10, but some will still require some tinkering to optomize the ability to run on (what I feel is) crappy fuel to start with (ethanol).
