Gas and oil gauge sending unit

Hi Everyone
A friend of mine is working on a 1930 8 cyl engine which has the oil and gas level gauge combination. He's looking for info on how the sending unit works. Any information would be great. Anyone have a schematic? Thanks in advance. Gene. -
This is a dual-coil gauge, with a 180 ohm resistance unit in the tank. No diagram, but that is probably the only information you need. They are not voltage dependant, so no voltage regulator is required.If you're stuck in a hole, stop digging.
