1923 ? Hudson six engine and transmission
-
I have been contacted by a gentleman who lives north of Dayton Ohio who is wondering if anyone would be interested in this engine and transmission. Date is stamped on flywheel so I am assuming that is the year of the unit. He said he is looking for in the area of $300. Anyone interested e-mail me at (HET)fclorenz@yahoo.com and I will forward you his e-mail.(remove (HET)

does anyone know if the 1923 motor and the 1924 motor are the same?any help would be appreciated. thanks jim

The 1923 and 1924 have very differnt blocks but the crankcases and transmissions are the same. 1923 and earlier had the carburettor, a side draft similar to an english SU in principle, bolted directly to the block on the opposite side from the exhaust manifold.
