Who is reproducing Gauge faces?
-
I saw a place on Ebay last year that was reproducing the fuel and temp gauge face for 51-53's....Darned if I can find him now. Does anyone know who is doing them? Thanks!
-
K-gap sells them. I assume you are referring to the 50-53 fuel/temp glass lens?
-
You might also try Scott Young in San Rafael, CA. See my cross-reference of repro parts for all Hudsons, http://mysite.verizon.net/detailed1/Repro%20Table.htm

This is not directly pertinent to the thread, but related. Does anyone reproduce the Hydramatic indicator glass? Script on mine is in bad shape. Thanx
-
I think that Scott Young can probably make you a new indicator, they make new amp and fuel guage glass for stepdowns. Here is their site http://www.showcarquality.com/www.hudsonmotorcar.org

Lance, Just looked on K-Gap's site and I couldn't find it. Update: Just found, it. It's listed under decals, as it's a decal ! That 'might' be difficult to line up perfectly. I need one also for my '50 Commodore 6, and the person Jon mentions in his post might have 'ready made' ones. Something to consider,: I had a perfect original spare, but you can't let the back ( Where the lettering is ) touch anything, fingers ect., as the lettering will just flake right off! -
I have one of Scott Youngs repro temp/fuel pieces and its quite nice! With I could get a Dual Range Hydro one for my 53 Hornet.
