'60 Dodge Pioneer Brake/Suspension Upgrade
-
I recently purchased a 1960 Dodge pioneer and want to change over the brake system to disc brakes. I also want to over haul the suspension. Can anyone tell me which, if any, of the later brake/suspension systems bolt on without having to modify anything.

I dont know what disc brakes will work but a better drum brake system is a 63 and 64 chrysler newyorker system,it eliminates the dual front wheel cylinders and gives you the bendix self energizing brakes. I parted a 64 newyorker and a friend took the brakes off it for his 57 plymouth and says they will bolt on and you use a master cylinder from a 67 and up with drums for a dual resivour. Jeff
