1949 Studebaker help
-
I have a 1949 Studebaker pickup truck, the body is completley original with paint, and the interior has been completly restored, but rats chewed through the wires, i would like to know how i could get that fixed and how much it would be worth after that. The engine also runs perfectly and has never ever had problems.

It may be advantagous to look into a after market harness, Depending on the severity of the damage caused by the rats!
If it is minimal find a reliable independent mechanic and hire it done! -
The wiring harnesses come in sections so be sure if you order one that you get the right section. I am sure there are others but Fairborn Studebaker sells wiring harnesses. Their number is 937-878-1576. AlsoStudebaker International but prices are higher. Tel # is 317-462-3124. I have a 1950 2-door champion bullet-nose that I am hoping to get painted soon. Right now, it is in several large pieces in various stages of readiness-hope to get it painted before winter. Jimmie
